How our Desktop Scanner Works
Our desktop scanner projects a blue structured LED pattern onto an object and films it using two HD cameras of 6.4 megapixels each. The cameras capture how the object deforms the light. This allows the scanner to calculate the dimensions of the object, resulting in a 3D image.

Plastic prints can be rigid or flexible. Rigid prints come in any colour including clear. Flexible plastic prints come in black and we can also print in black rubber.
Bespoke CAD work
As CAD specialists, we can incorporate your scan into an accurate CAD model of your design, hollow out models and add, alter or remove features or textures. We can also give estimated weights in metal.
Turn your scan into a piece of jewellery in gold or silver
Coming from a background in precious bespoke jewellery, we are highly experienced at creating stunning jewellery from scans including pendants, earrings, rings, bracelets, brooches and cufflinks. We can also replicate a missing earring or create matching pieces e.g. a matching pendant to a pair of earrings or the duplication of a special ring.
We can create beautiful pendants from scans of hands, feet, clothing or other sentimental item of your baby, toddler or loved one.

Send or bring your item to our studio in central London. We can often scan while you wait. Alternatively, we can come to you for an additional charge.
We will select the scanner and parameters that will achieve the best possible outcome. Accurate measurements such as distance, surface area and volume can be provided, if needed.

Quotes are usually sent out the same day we receive your request. Prices start from £40 plus vat for small scans and from £85 plus vat for medium objects and £120 for large objects. Price depends on the size of the item and its complexity.
Scans will be sent by email or Wetransfer. 3d wax, plastic and resin prints, jewellery and customer entrustments will be sent by post or can be collected from our premises in Farringdon, central London.
