With more than 10 years’ experience in the 3d scanning business, we ensure that our equipment keeps us at the forefront of new developments in this fast moving arena. Our 3d desktop scanner for objects up to 9cm is top of the range with point spacing of a mere 0.029mm and two cameras of 6.4 megapixels each and has prices starting at £45 + VAT. Our mobile handheld hybrid scanner has scanning accuracy of only 0.04mm for laser scanning of small objects and 0.05mm for blue light LED scanning of objects above 30cm. For reverse engineering and other uses, accurate measurements of distance, surface area and volume can be calculated. With prices from only £90 + VAT, we offer affordable high definition scanning with discounts available for jobs involving multiple scans. Each object has its own characteristics and needs to be quoted on individually. Please note that not every object can be scanned effectively and we can advise on this.

How our Desktop Scanner Works
Our desktop scanner projects a blue structured LED pattern onto an object and films it using two HD cameras of 6.4 megapixels each. The cameras capture how the object deforms the light. This allows the scanner to calculate the dimensions of the object, resulting in a 3D image.

We print in red wax which can be cast into the metal of your choice.
3d resin prints of your scans for moulding, prototypes, trying on or as keepsakes
We usually print in grey, although black, white and clear are also available. If printing in bulk, we can supply other materials. Please contact us with your requirements. Resin models can be painted using modelling paints or acrylics. Please note that resin is heavier than injection moulded plastics and other very lightweight materials.
Bespoke CAD work
As CAD specialists, we can incorporate your scan into an accurate CAD model of your design, hollow out models and add, alter or remove features or textures. We can also give estimated weights in metal.
Turn your scan into a piece of jewellery in gold or silver
Coming from a background in precious bespoke jewellery, we are highly experienced at creating stunning jewellery from scans including pendants, earrings, rings, bracelets, brooches and cufflinks. We can also replicate a missing earring or create matching pieces e.g. a matching pendant to a pair of earrings or the duplication of a special ring.
We can create beautiful pendants from scans of hands, feet, clothing or other sentimental item of your baby, toddler or loved one.

Send or bring your item to our studio in central London. We can often scan while you wait. Alternatively, we can come to you for an additional charge.
We will select the scanner and parameters that will achieve the best possible outcome. Accurate measurements such as distance, surface area and volume can be provided, if needed.

Jewellery commissions fully finished take 2 to 3 weeks. CAD work delivery timings depend on the difficulty of the job.

Quotes are usually sent out the same day we receive your request. Prices start from £45 plus vat for small scans and from £90 plus vat for medium objects and £130 for large objects. Price depends on the size of the item and its complexity.
Scans will be sent by email, wetransfer or other file transfer service. 3d wax, resin prints, jewellery and customer entrustments will be sent by post or can be collected from our premises in Farringdon, central London.
